I treat this place more as a takeout place and less of a "sit-down restaurant". Simply the best dim sum (in Bensonhurst) and great noodle soup+rice combo dishes. Not exactly excellent in the family-style restaurant category though because of their overpriced greasy dishes during dinner hours.Dim Sum is especially crowded during mornings and afternoons but I give this place an extra star in my review because they DELIVER dim sum! That's right, dim sum delivered to your door. I have yet to find any other place in all of Brooklyn or Queens that does this but then again, maybe its just me.Worth getting roasted meat or soy sauce chicken/scallion oil chicken rice combos or any of their dim sum/noodle soup dishes. My recommendations include the above and the Gravy Noodles with Beef (the gravy version of Beef Chow Fun - white flat noodles)This place is not spectacular but it's pretty darn good for the price point.

We visited this place for dimsim at lunchtime today. The place was pretty crowded but the turnover was enough that we did not wait long before a table opened up. We had the usual dimsim dishes like chicken feet, tripe, egg custard, and the like. I thought it was about average for NYC and above average compared to all the places I've been to.

::UPDATE UPDATE::The roast pork, roast duck, and roast pig might not appeal to me. However, the DIM SUMs here are definitely very good compared to ones I have had in 8th Ave (Brooklyn Chinatown). I LOVE the "chicken feet" the MOST!! Don't let the name scare you because it is very delicious after it's fully cooked. I am satisfied just from eating that. It makes me become HAPPY FEET!! ::TAP TAP::

We had raw siu mai here once. I can't believe I swallowed it and didn't know until my second piece.

This place barely deserves the star, but since Yelp doesn't allow zero stars and their sui mei is decent. If you're a regular customer you'll be treated like royalty, but otherwise expect to be ignored and grudgingly served less-than-Chinese-takeout-quality food. Came here with my family on a semi-busy night and was seated at the table closest to the entryway (1st warning sign). All of the waiters were clustered around 2 or 3 tables of customers who were clearly regulars; I half expected them to help themselves to dinner! When a waiter finally came over to take our orders, I thought he kept interrupting us to mumble something until I realized HE WAS TALKING TO SOMEONE ON HIS CELL PHONE HEADSET! WTF...When our food (greasy, overcooked) was slammed on the table, the waiter ran away so fast it took another 5 minutes until one managed to step away from the regulars/cell phone convo's just to order white rice....which turned out to be undercooked American rice. I mean, what kind of respectable Chinese restaurant CAN'T MAKE RICE? It should be fluffy, soft Thai Jasmine rice. And then we had to flag down another waiter to bring us another table setting. Seriously, these guys would not stand still long enough for us to make that request earlier! That was seriously the last straw. I don't expect stellar service at a Chinese restaurant, but I also don't expect to have to chase down a waiter and wait for him to finish his phone conversation just to ask for chopsticks. So many other good restaurants in Brooklyn--Including Americanized take-out places--why bother going here?
